<\/p>This position is responsible for company\u2019s enterprise network infrastructure. A successful candidate for this role will have strong project management\/organization skills, the ability to context switch at a high level and provide excellent customer support to complement his\/her technical skills. This individual will work with a variety of teams that help support the growth of our company as well as other infrastructure engineers to help design, implement, and maintain company\u2019s enterprise network.
<\/p>RESPONSIBILITIES
<\/p>\u2022\tFunction as an escalation point for our Client Operations team
<\/p>\u2022\tMaintain network availability
<\/p>\u2022\tManage and maintain incoming ticket queue
<\/p>\u2022\tHave ownership of our enterprise network deployments (rack and stack to configuration)
<\/p>\u2022\tOrder and track carrier circuits, networking hardware; maintain vendor relationships
<\/p>\u2022\tDevelop and track key metrics and log data for response and review
<\/p>\u2022\tParticipate in an on call rotation
<\/p>Requirements
<\/p>\u2022\t3-5 years experience in networking
<\/p>\u2022\tCCNA certified or equivalent level of knowledge
<\/p>\u2022\tStrong understand of routing and switching protocols
<\/p>\u2022\tExperience with high-availability service design models
<\/p>\u2022\tExperience with cloud providers such as AWS
<\/p>\u2022\tExperience with Palo Alto Network and\/or Fortinet Firewalls,
<\/p>\u2022\tExperience with Aruba and\/or Meraki wireless infrastructure and other major networking hardware vendors
<\/p>\u2022\tAbility to analyze network packet traces\/captures
<\/p>\u2022\tWell-versed in enterprise policies, guidelines, and standards
<\/p>\u2022\tAbility to create network diagrams, documentation, MOP\u2019s and runbooks.
<\/p>\u2022\tExperience with Optical Transport Networks is a plus
<\/p>\u2022\tBasic knowledge of shell scripting and programming languages such a PERL, or Python is a plus
