Join us!<\/p><p><b> Responsibilities of the <\/b><b> Housekeeping Aide: <\/b><\/p><ul><br><li> Clean up spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed. <\/li><br><li> Assist in maintaining a neat and odor free facility. <\/li><br><li> Clean (including vacuuming, wiping, mopping, polishing, etc.) rooms, offices, and common areas; polish and straighten items; confirm residents rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner and residents personal items are safeguarded. <\/li><br><li> Maintain a work area free of hazardous conditions, i.e., spills, excessive supplies, equipment, etc. <\/li><br><li> Keep work and storage areas in a clean, organized, sanitary, and safe condition. <\/li><br><\/ul><p><b> Requirements of the <\/b><b> Housekeeping Aide: <\/b><\/p><ul><br><li> Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a long-term care facility. <\/li><br><li> Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality. <\/li><br><li> Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions. <\/li><br><li> Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures. <\/li><br><li> Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change. <\/li><br><li> Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with staff and vendors. <\/li><br><\/ul><p> Candidates will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment.
