You\u2019ll play a vital part in our success, developing, designing, and implementing innovative warehouse solutions, which bring standardisation, visibility, and actionability to our customer\u2019s supply chains. <\/p><p><\/p><p><b> Job Scope: <\/b><\/p><p> Reporting to the Head of Japan, the role holder\u2019s key accountability is to strengthen relationships with key customers, identify business opportunities, increase profitability, and accelerate growth for our company in Japan. Responsible for developing and implementing key account management strategy aligned with the overall corporate vision, strategy, and targets of different business streams. The incumbent will be partnering with the Operations Management team base on project requirements. <\/p><p><\/p><p><b> Key responsibilities and accountabilities: <\/b><\/p><ul><li> Set directions for the Account Management Group <\/li><li> Maintain good long-term relationships with existing clients and identify potential new business opportunities for the company. Leads this effort by working with the Head of Japan to identify strategic business opportunities in the core and new verticals. Being ahead of the market trend, this position is required to design creative solutions to anticipate and exceed customer expectations&#160;<\/li><li> Work proactively and closely with related business stakeholders to meet the clients\u2019 expectation, manage project implementation and execution, achieve objectives of profit growth, and ensure KPI met&#160;<\/li><li> Responsible for the management of the relationship with accountable clients <\/li><li> Develop sustainable customer relationships through Strategic Customer Relationship Management and Development <\/li><li> Manage projects relating to operations and or commercial functions <\/li><li> Provide feedback and market information on key accounts <\/li><li> Proactively anticipate customers\u2019 needs and provide corresponding solutions or proposal offerings. <\/li><li> Work closely with the regional counterparts for regional account opportunities <\/li><li> Review Business Development Pipeline and results of the Business Development work with the General Manager - Head of Japan <\/li><li> Lead market profiling and corporate customer\/competitor research and analysis activities to understand and identify market opportunities and challenges Drive Continuous Process Improvement <\/li><li> Plan actions to be taken on competitors\u2019 activities as result of market intelligence reports <\/li><li> Manage pipeline of opportunities to meet the sales goals. <\/li><li> Work in alignment with company&#39;s business strategy and objectives <\/li><li> Respond to corporate customer RFI, RFQ and Tenders.&#160;<\/li><li> Develop effective pricing strategies to sustain profitable growth.&#160;<\/li><li> Drive for results through effective stakeholder engagement at all levels. <\/li><li> Ensure logistics execution activities comply with Service Level Agreement to support the expected substantial profitable growth of the business. <\/li><li> Negotiate commercial terms that are both competitive and in line with company expectations <\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p><b> Job Requirements: <\/b><\/p><ul><li> Must have over 10 years of relevant experience in key account or business development role in logistics company and be on a managerial level <\/li><li> Must have exposure to a supply chain management environment (i.e., Logistics and Distribution)<\/li><li> A bachelor\u2019s degree or higher.&#160; Studies of International Shipping\/ Logistics Management\/Supply Chain Management\/Solutions.
