<\/p> The Carpenter position is responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to create high-quality wall installations that adhere to our standards and exceed customer expectations.
<\/p>* Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
* Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
* Install custom wall systems, panels, trim, and moldings according to specifications and blueprints.
* Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
* Construct and install frameworks, partitions, joists, studding, and rafters.
* Ensure all installations are level, plumb, and square.
* Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure project success.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
* Use carpentry tools and equipment with proficiency and safety.
<\/p> Job Requirements
<\/p>- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry
- Preferred experience in finishing work, millwork\/detail-oriented, cabinet shops, molding
- Travel throughout all parts of Maryland, Northern VA, DC, including government sites
- Able to work on feet for extended periods of time
- Good written and verbal English skills
